Wildflowers on Hike to Winnemucca Lake, CA

Summer is the best time to visit this favorite hike of mine.  It's a moderate hike of approximately 5 miles round trip. You'll find the entrance to the trailhead at the Ranger Station; west of Hope Valley, CA, on the south side of Highway 88. Visit my online Gift Shop at www.pamelaponsart.com to discover products I've created for Home and Living from my photographs I took while out on the trail. Here is a teaser: These are Foam-back coasters, available in sets of 2 or 4; just 'the ticket' for Patriotic celebrations. Check it out! They ship free within the Continental USA.

I had no idea that Winnemucca had a lake much less how beautiful it is with the wildflowers in the foreground! That is absolutely a beautiful picture, one of the best I have seen in a long time!
I am so glad to read your post! Kate Florio
